Last-gasp Glenullin earn replay

Derry's Fergal Doherty

An injury-time point from Ruairi Boylan gave Glenullin a 0-14 to 1-11 draw with Slaughtneil in The Elk Derry SFC quarter-final at Dungiven on Sunday.

Jim Kelly netted for Slaughtneil in the first minute - the replay is at Celtic Park on Wednesday night (2000 BST).

Two second-half goals from Eamon Murray gave Ballinascreen a 2-7 to 0-8 win over Castledawson at Bellaghy.

Dungiven beat Banagher 1-14 to 1-12 on Saturday after Ballinderry won 1-11 to 1-9 against Bellaghy on Friday night.

Conleth Gilligan scored five points for Ballinderry, who led 1-6 to 0-5 at the break with Raymond Wilkinson scoring their goal in the 10th minute.

Declan Graffin scored a penalty for Bellaghy late in the game to bring his side back into it but Wilkinson then missed with another penalty attempt.

Dungiven got off to a perfect start with Aaron McCloskey's first-minute goal and they led 1-8 to 0-7 at half-time.

PJ McCloskey's goal on 53 minutes was not enough to deny Dungiven victory.

Kelly's goal for Slaughtneil came from a penalty and his side were 1-6 to 0-8 ahead at the break.

They were a point in front in the final seconds of added time when centre half-back Barry McGuigan was sent-off for a second yellow card after bringing down Brian Mullan.

From the resulting free Boylan held his nerve to force the reply.

Ballinascreen led 0-5 to 0-1 after a poor first half against Castledawson before Murray's double sealed their place in the semi-finals.
