Devils lose cup final opening leg
Plymouth Devils' disappointing end to the season continued after they went down 50-39 in the first leg of their Conference League Cup final at Boston.
Despite trailing by just a single point with three heats to go Boston pulled out two maximum scores in the next two heats to increase their lead.
Tom Brown top-scored for Plymouth, who were still reeling from their defeat in the play-offs, with 10 points.
The second leg is at St Boniface Arena on Friday, 24 October at 1930 BST.
