Gjedde praised by Belle Vue boss
Belle Vue team manager Chris Morton thinks new boy Charlie Gjedde can inspire the Aces to success.
The Dane joined the Aces during the winter on loan from Swindon.
Morton told the Manchester Evening News: "Charlie forms the spearhead of the side with Jason [Crump] and Joe [Screen].
"He was one of a number of riders we considered for the top end of the side. He has good experience of Belle Vue in particular and other British tracks."
Morton added: "Charlie is a gutsy rider who can score points on most tracks - he's not a one-trick pony who will do well on certain circuits and not others."
Belle Vue begin their Elite League season at home to Arena-Essex on Monday, 31 March.
