Smith bemoans Donington problems
Oxfordshire's 125cc MotoGP teenager Bradley Smith was left disappointed after mechanical problems hampered his chances at Donington Park.
The 17-year-old finished 10th at the British MotoGP, which was won by Gloucester's Scott Redding.
Smith told BBC Oxford: "At the first part of the circuit everything was going well, at the second part there was something wrong with my engine.
"Sometimes these things happen. It's a 10th position and it's some points."
He continued: "It's a big let-down, but at least the positive thing is that we had a British winner."
