Scott Redding followed up his career-best qualifying result of fourth with a sixth-place finish in Sunday's 125cc Catalunya Grand Prix.
The 15-year-old came home as the best-placed Briton, with Danny Webb 11th and Bradley Smith, who had a big crash in qualifying, 14th.
France's Mike de Meglio won a fiercely fought race to replace Italy's Simone Corsi as championship leader.
Local favourite Pol Espargaro was second with Gabor Talmacsi third.
