Rea misses Donington MotoGP ride
Northern Ireland's Jonathan Rea has been pulled out of the British Grand Prix at Donington on 24 June.
The 20-year-old from Ballyclare had been given a wilcard entry for what would have been his MotoGP debut on a Honda-powered KR212 for Team Roberts.
Instead, Superbike rider Rea will concentrate on preparing for the Suzuka eight-hour race in Japan.
"I am hoping it will not be my last opportunity for a MotoGP ride this year," said Rea.
On Sunday Rea secured his first win in the British Superbike Championship at Mondello Park.
