Crockard wins British opener
Gordon Crockard made a winning start in the 2007 British Motocross Championship at Canada Heights in Kent on Sunday.
The Newtownards rider claimed victory in the first MX1 race by two seconds from Billy Mackenzie, with reigning champion Ken de Dycker in third.
Dycker won the second race with Crockard working his way through the field from 13th to finish fourth.
Crockard, who lies second in the points table after the meeting, is a three-times British champion.
