Hungaroring, Hungary

Non-animated version

The Hungaroring is not much of a track, but it has wonderful Budapest nearby as compensation

The hot and dusty Hungaroring is tough for drivers but not great for racing, even taking into account changes made in 2003 to make overtaking easier.

Former driver Martin Brundle once described it as "a street circuit without the houses", summing up well its claustrophobic tight corners.

Fortunately, wonderful Budapest is a superb distraction just down the road.

It is one of the world's great cities, brimming with culture, atmosphere, beautiful sites and good nightlife.
