Next year's Formula One calendar has been trimmed from 18 to 17 races after San Marino and the European Grands Prix were dropped from the schedule.
The Belgian Grand Prix returns after being axed last year while improvements were made to the Spa circuit.
The changes mean Italy and Germany will now only stage one race each.
The programme starts in Australia on 18 March, with the European section opening in Spain on 13 May, and the British Grand Prix on 8 July.
There are five back-to-back races during the season, which ends in Brazil on 21 October.
The loss of the European Grand Prix means Hockenheim and Nurburgring circuits are both vying to host the German Grand Prix.
Imola is left without a race after the San Marino race was axed, with Monza hosting the Italian Grand Prix.
Once again, Indianapolis hosts the US Grand Prix, despite the farce in 2005 when only six cars began the race because of fears over tyre safety.
The Japanese Grand Prix will move from Suzuka to Fuji.
