Crowe and Cox win F2 championship
The IOM's sidecar duo, Nick Crowe and Mark Cox, secured the British Formula Two Sidecar Championship at Pembrey, South Wales at the weekend.
The Honda pair went into the event 16 points ahead of Gary Horsepole and Scott Parnell and held on for victory.
It was their second piece of good news of the week after being named members of the full factory-backed HM Plant Honda team for the Isle of Man TT 2009.
Crowe and Cox secured the 2008 TT Road Race event by more than 19 seconds.
Also named for the HM Plant Honda team on Friday were outright lap record holder John McGuiness and this year's Supersport A race winner Steve Plater.
