British motor racing fans get their only chance to experience the German-based racing series Deutsche Turenwagen Masters (DTM) this weekend.
Six British drivers will be taking part including Susie Stoddart who drives a 2007 AMG Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
She told BBC London 94.9: "Last year we had a massive pile-up at Druids, so it's going to be crucial to get a good start and stay out of trouble.
"If the British weather kicks in it's going to get even more exciting."
This is the only visit to the UK for the DTM which sees Audi and Mercedes-Benz do battle in some of the world's fastest touring cars.
The championship has attracted a number of ex-Formula One drivers, with Ralf Schumacher taking part this year.
As well as the one hour DTM race, Lewis Hamilton will be giving his McLaren-Mercedes Formula One car a spin around the Kent track on Sunday.
"It's a credit to Mercedes-Benz that they are supporting so many young British drivers," said Stoddart.
"DTM is second only to Formula One in Germany. There's always lots going on at the race meetings - you can meet the drivers and see the cars close up in the pit lane.
"I'm sure the appearance of Lewis Hamilton will get more people along to Brands Hatch this weekend. Hopefully they'll see how fun and exciting the series can be."
