The IndyCar Series is set to take its first delivery of ethanol ahead of becoming the first in motorsport to use a renewable fuel source.
IndyCars will run on 100% ethanol this season after using a 90-10 blend of gasoline and the corn-based fuel during the 2006 championship.
The ethanol will be used for the first time on 31 January at the start of a two-day test session at Daytona.
"The transition's been flawless," said Indy-car technical boss Les Mactaggart.
About 120,000 gallons of the fuel will be supplied this year to storage tanks at Indianapolis than can hold up to 30,000 gallons, with reloading to come after fuel is used in races and tests during the season.
Indy cars use a 3.5-litre Honda V8 engine.
