Tanni Grey-Thompson
An extraordinary performance from Tanni Grey-Thompson saw the Birmingham-based athlete win gold at the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m at the Sydney Paralympic Games.
The 31-year-old's success of the summer gave her a final total of 14 medals from four Games.
The talented sportswoman has won four London Marathons and has also twice been voted BBC Wales's Sports Personality of the Year.
Grey-Thompson is Britain's most successful paralympic athlete in wheelchair racing, has been awarded an MBE and an OBE, and is an ambassador for disabled athletes.
