England's Oliver Wilson moved out in front with a five-under-par third round of 65 in Hong Kong to keep his hopes of a maiden European Tour victory alive.
Wilson held a one-shot lead over Taiwan's Lin Wen-Tang, who carded a six-under 64, while German veteran Bernhard Langer was two shots back.
Four players, including India's Jeev Milkh Singh and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy, were four shots off the pace.
Oliver Fisher, tied for the lead after two rounds, carded a three-over-par 73.
The round dropped Fisher to five under for the tournament, alongside fellow overnight leader Louis Oosthuizen, from South Africa.
Thailand's Chawalit Plaphol, the fourth player to share the lead after 36 holes, shot an even-par third round to stay eight-under overall.

He dropped a shot at the first but fired two successive birdies from the sixth to reach the turn at one under par for the day.
Birdies on the 10th, 13th and 14th saw him move back into a share of first place, before a superb 15-foot putt on the 17th handed him the outright lead.
"I am very happy with today," he said. "It will need a good round tomorrow but I'll just keep doing what I am doing and hopefully it will be enough."
Wilson will have to be at his best on Sunday after a stunning performance by former European Ryder Cup captain Langer.
The 51-year-old's start did little to suggest an impressive display was on the cards as he teed off into the bunker on the par-four first before putting for a bogey.
He birdied the sixth then picked up a superb eagle on the par-four seventh, holing with a seven iron after having again driven his tee shot into a bunker.
Langer picked up another shot on the par-three eighth and made par on the ninth to reach the turn at three under for the day.

"It was kind of a strange day," said Langer. "It is always great to be up on the leaderboard and it is always great to be in contention.
"That is what we practice for and what we work for; to have a good chance on Sunday afternoon to win a tournament."
Hong Kong amateur Jason Hak, 14 - who on Friday became the youngest player to make the cut at a European Tour event - was three over par for the tournament after a third-round 73.
Scotland's Colin Montgomerie went round in 68, slipping back to four shots off the lead.
