Padraig Harrington finished runner-up at the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda for the second year running after losing a play-off to Jim Furyk.
Harrington had birdied the first extra hole but the American claimed victory by draining an eight-foot eagle putt.
The pair had finished the 36-hole event on four-under par, Furyk forcing a play-off with a birdie at the last.
Retief Goosen was third on one over and Masters champion Trevor Immelman finished four strokes further back.
It was a bad case of déjà vu for Harrington as 12 months earlier he had to settle for the runners-up spot after Angel Cabrera eagled the last to draw level, before winning on the third extra hole.
The end-of-season event traditionally features the winners of the four majors, but with Tiger Woods injured and Harrington having won both the Open and the US PGA Championship, Goosen and Furyk filled the void.

Furyk responded with two birdies of own and when Harrington bogeyed the fifth, the American took a one-shot lead.
Neither player could seize the initiative, however, as Harrington added three more birdies, before a double bogey at 15 saw Furyk again lead by one with a birdie at the 13th.
The match appeared to swing in favour of the Open champion as a birdie at 17 was followed by a bogey by Furyk at the same hole, but the former US Open champion finished his round with a birdie at the final hole to force the play-off.
Goosen, who started the day two shots off the lead, was soon level at the top of the leaderboard after three birdies in the first four holes.
However, a seven at the 12th put paid to any challenge from the 39-year-old South-African, while fellow countryman Immelman was never in the hunt after an opening round of 76.
