World number one Tiger Woods has been paired with number two Phil Mickelson and third-ranked Adam Scott of Australia at next week's US Open.
The tournament, at the Torrey Pines course in San Diego, is Woods's first since undergoing knee surgery.
And despite the lay-off he is likely to be among the leading contenders.
Defending champion Angel Cabrera of Argentina has been grouped with Open winner Padraig Harrington and Davis Love III for the first two rounds.
Ernie Els, Justin Rose and Geoff Ogilvy make up another trio, while Stewart Cink, Sergio Garcia and Vijay Singh will be together.
There is also an all-British group with world number 17 Luke Donald teeing off with Paul Casey and Ian Poulter while former Masters champions Trevor Immelman, Zach Johnson and Mike Weir will play together.

Woods, who had surgery on his left knee two days after finishing second at The Masters, had not played a round since Augusta.
He got in 17 holes on Wednesday, picking up his ball about 100 yards from the 18th green after seeing that a group of people had begun to gather.
Woods reportedly played for just over three hours under tight security.
The partnering of him with Mickelson will draw attention because the pair are reported to have a frosty relationship.
Although they have always played down reports of animosity between them, they were famously teamed up unsuccessfully at the 2004 Ryder Cup.
They have been the only fixtures at the top of the world rankings for the last decade, and have shared several intense battles in big tournaments over the years.
