GB duo fail to qualify for Open
Britain's Yasin Ali and Lloyd Saltman missed out on a place in July's Open Championship after a mixed final day at the Asian qualifying tournament.
Ali began the day tied for the lead following a three-under 69 in the first round at Singapore's Sentosa Golf Club.
But the Englishman, 26, bogeyed two of the first three holes and finished two shots off the four-under score needed.
Scotland's Saltman, 22, was two under after the first day but missed out by one shot after a final-round 70.
Malaysia's Danny Chia won the event on six under, while Australian Adam Blyth was second on five under.
Lam Chih-Bing of Singapore and Angelo Que of the Philippines also qualified after beating Japan's Tomohiro Kondo in a play-off.
The Open takes place at Royal Birkdale from 17-20 July.
