Phil Mickelson turned in a round of 66 to take a four-shot lead over South Korean Kevin Na at the Phoenix Open.
The Masters champion, who equalled the course record at TPC Scottsdale on Friday, hit six birdies and a bogey to leave him on a 14-under total of 199.
Na, who started level with Mickelson, had three birdies on the front nine, but fell away after the turn.
World number one Vijay Singh moved up the leaderboard with a five-under 66 that left him 10 shots off the lead.
Mickelson admitted that his round was a bit of a comedown following his second-round 60.
"It felt like I shot over par compared to yesterday, but it was good enough to get in the lead and I'm looking forward to Sunday's round.
"It's so much fun to play in the last group in this event."
