Reyna mulls over USA retirement

USA lost 2-1 and finished bottom of Group E and Reyna said: "I'm really disappointed that we're out.

"I never wanted to make this bigger for me or anything because it was going to be my last World Cup but yeah, it's disappointing," said the 32-year-old.

Striker Brian McBride added: "He's been amazing. I've loved playing with him."

Reyna limped off after just 40 minutes of the defeat after going down in a challenge with Haminu Draman from which the Ghanaians took the lead.

He said: "I should have probably just put it up the field and I tried to dribble. I just made the wrong decision there.

"As the game went on, I felt every time I planted and turned, my knee felt weak. In such a big game, it was the smart decision to come off.

"I wanted to carry on, but I made the decision really for the team."

McBride continued: "We missed Claudio when he went off, we always miss him when he's not there - he can pick teams apart."
