Freddie Ljungberg said he could not wait for Tuesday's crunch game against England, after his goal kept alive Sweden's hopes of winning Group B.
Ljungberg's headed goal gave Sweden a 1-0 win over Paraguay and put the South Americans out of the World Cup.
"It's going to be difficult but it will be a massive game as both teams want to win the group," said the Arsenal man.
"I think we played well, better than against Trinidad and Tobago. We created enough chances to win the game."
Ljungberg added: "But of course you get a little worried when you create that many chances and the ball doesn't want to go in.
"It was absolutely the best match I have ever experienced. The fans are never this crazy when we play at home. All the Swedes were screaming like mad."
Marcus Allback, who placed a header back across goal for Ljungberg to head home, said: "At first I thought about lobbing the ball over the keeper but without thinking I headed it across the goalmouth and the next thing I knew the whole stadium erupted.
"We had so many chances in the game that it was becoming frustrating. But the positive thing was that we moved much better and we are happy to be almost through to the next round."
Victory against England will win the group for Sweden.
A draw would be good enough to put the Scandinavians through to the knockout stage, but not as group winners. Defeat could even send Sweden home.
The winners of Group B will play the loser in Germany's match against Ecuador, also on Tuesday. If that match is a draw, Germany will meet the Group B winners - as Ecuador would top Group A on goal difference.
"We haven't advanced from the group stage yet," said coach Lars Lagerback. "It's always frustrating sitting on the bench creating goalscoring chances and you can't put them in the net.
"But (Sweden) not creating goalscoring chances is even worse."
