Injury forces Olisadebe admission
Portsmouth striker Emmanuel Olisadebe has ruled out representing Poland at the World Cup finals in Germany.
The striker moved to Fratton Park in January but has played just two matches because of a persistent knee injury.
"I've stopped dreaming about the finals," Nigerian-born Olisadebe, 27, told Polish newspaper Fakt.
"It's straightforward - I know that I'm not going to Germany. I thought I could make it if I played in the English league but I haven't had the chance."
Olisadebe made his Poland debut at the start of the qualifying campaign for the last World Cup having been fast-tracked for citizenship.
His goals helped Poland qualify for their first World Cup since 1986 but in the last three years he has represented his adopted country just twice.
