England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has not risked Michael Owen in the friendly against Sweden because of his hamstring injury.

Owen had passed a fitness test on his injured hamstring on Friday, but Eriksson left the Liverpool striker out of his line-up.

Owen's late withdrawal opens the door for Sunderland's Kevin Phillips.

Trevor Sinclair starts down the left for England after Eriksson gave him the nod ahead of Darren Anderton.
