Coventry Ladies progress in cup
Coventry City Ladies reached the third round of the Birmingham County Cup in style with a 6-0 win away at Solihull.
Helen Dermody and Cherelle Archibald both scored twice and the pair netted their first goals in the opening half to give City a 2-0 lead at the break.
Dermody added a third shortly after the re-start before Nicole Tinto also got on the score sheet.
Jade Formaston then grabbed her third goal in five matches before Archibald completed the rout.
In some of the other ties featuring teams from Coventry and Warwickshire, Copsewood were crushed 7-1 by holders Birmingham City and Aston Villa thrashed Coleshill Town 9-0.
Coundon Court beat Racing Club Warwick 1-0, Leamington Lions won 2-1 at Coventry City Development and Studley made light work of Hopwood Star, winning 8-0.
