The top-of-the-table Gunners are now seven points clear of Bristol Academy.
Everton retained their feel-good factor from the final, beating Cardiff City 4-0 to chalk up a seventh successive victory in League and cups.
There was another 4-0 scoreline at Doncaster, where the Belles beat bottom of the table Charlton Athletic.

Defensive errors proved costly for the home side as they gifted the League leaders all three of their first-half goals.
England winger Rachel Yankey hit the opener before Sanderson bagged a brace to take her season's goal tally to 31 in all competitions.
The second half was more evenly contested, but the home side were caught on the break by Scotland striker Julie Fleeting to head in the final goal.
Victory took the Gunners seven points clear at the top of the table, with Arsenal having four games in hand on second-placed Bristol Academy, who had no weekend fixture.

England Under-23 striker Natasha Dowie hit the net twice as Everton comfortably beat relegation-threatened opponents.
Toni Duggan and Dowie gave the visitors a two-goal advantage by the break, with Fara Williams and Dowie each scoring to wrap up the victory.
The result lifted Everton to fourth place in the table but left Cardiff second from bottom and 10 points adrift of the safety positions.
Doncaster Rovers Belles 4-0 Charlton Athletic
Three goals in the opening 14 minutes put the Belles on the road to a third League victory in four outings.
Emily Heckler, Carla Cantrell and Vicky Exley were the early scorers, with striker Cantrell doubling her tally midway through the second half.
Donny moved up to fifth place but Charlton, with just three points from 16 games, look relegation certainties.
Watford 2-3 Chelsea
An own goal by Katherine McKenna handed inconsistent Chelsea only their second win in five League matches.
Helen Lander equalised Ellen White's fourth minute opener for the visitors, but Sophie Perry quickly restored Chelsea's lead.
And McKenna's 23rd minute own goal extend the visitors' lead, though the Hornets almost found a sting in the tail after Lander had reduced the arrears 15 minutes from time.
Chelsea remain in eighth place while one-time leaders Watford, with just one point from their last six matches, dropped to seventh.
Liverpool 1-0 Birmingham City
Kelly Jones won an uninspiring game with a neat 17th-minute header from Chantelle Parry's looping cross.
