Alderson receives England call-up
Sunderland keeper Helen Alderson has been selected in the England Under-23 squad for the Five Nations La Manga Tournament in February.
The 18-year-old has been capped by the Under-19s but this represents her first call-up at the higher age range.
Alderson has been a regular for the Black Cats' first team this season and attends Loughborough University.
Sunderland youngsters Rachael Laws and Elisha Fry were recently called up to the Under-17 squad in January.
