Brazil women edge out Australia
Brazil overcame Australia 3-2 to reach the Women's World Cup semi-finals.
Formiga curled in a long-range effort to put Brazil ahead and Marta's penalty put the South American's 2-0 up.
But Australia pulled one back when Lisa De Vanna pounced on a poor back-pass and rounded Brazil keeper Andreia before slotting in.
Lauren Colthorpe expertly headed in to equalise but Cristiane turned and shot into the top right corner for Brazil to set up a clash with the United States.
