Canada women thrash dismal Ghana
Skipper Christine Sinclair scored a brace as Canada picked up their first points in Group C with a crushing 4-0 victory over Ghana.
Sinclair bagged her first with a looping header from Kara Lang's cross before Sophie Schmidt extended the lead with a deflected header from close in.
Lang played in Sinclair for her second before Martina Franko completed the rout, nodding in after a keeper error.
Two losses from two games means Ghana cannot progress from the group.
