England captain John Terry is among the star names playing in Terry Skiverton's testimonial on Saturday, 4 July.
The brother of ex-Glovers midfielder Paul Terry features for a Select XI who are playing Yeovil's Conference-winning side from the 2002-03 season.
Dennis Wise, Gus Poyet and Tore Andre Flo are also expected to play.
"John's been down to Yeovil a few times and I was just pleased as punch he said he'd come down and captain the other team," Skiverton told BBC Somerset.
He added: "There'll be a bit of nervous apprehension hoping that the supporters get behind us and come out and see some fantastic names."
Skiverton joined Yeovil in 1999, and captained the team to two promotions under the leadership of Gary Johnson before replacing Russell Slade as manager last season.
Johnson, who is now in charge of Bristol City, will return to Huish Park to manage the Conference-winning side.
The City boss said: "It will bring back a lot of memories. It'll be great day and he deserves a big crowd because he's been a great servant to Yeovil and hopefully they'll fill the stadium."
