Yeovil will compete for new cup
Yeovil Town have accepted an invitation to take part in a new pre-season summer cup competition.
They will play in the inaugural Errea South West Challenge Cup, to be held in North Devon, from 22 to 27 July.
Crystal Palace, Torquay United, Kidderminster Harriers, Bideford AFC, Clevedon Town, Eastleigh and Barnstaple Town are the teams confirmed so far.
Yeovil manager Russell Slade told the club's website: "It will form a good part of our pre-season activities."
Matches will be played at Bideford AFC's home the Sports Ground, in Kingsley Road, and Appledore FC's pitch, at Churchill Way.
It will be a knockout competition and more details will be released at a later date.
