Mildenhall rejected Rovers chance
New Yeovil keeper Steve Mildenhall has confirmed that Bristol Rovers were one of the other clubs interested in him.
Swindon-born Mildenhall has signed a two-year deal, following his former boss Russell Slade down from Grimsby.
"I spoke to Rovers and it would have been ideal as it's on my doorstep but I decided the best club would be Yeovil," Mildenhall told BBC Radio Bristol.
"As soon as I knew the gaffer was interested I said immediately I'd join him, so I let a few other people down."
