Wrexham release angers Williams
Danny Williams says that Wrexham boss Brian Little has made a mistake in the players he has chosen to discard.
Wrexham-born Williams, 28, is one of 12 players released by the relegated Dragons, with five transfer-listed and another five loan players not retained.
"I'm really disappointed and a little bit angry, but it's his [Little's] decision," midfielder Williams said.
"I felt I deserved a new deal, because apart from being out with a back injury I've had a couple of decent seasons."
Williams, club captain Neil Roberts and his fellow Wales forward Chris Llewellyn were the headline names surplus to requirements as Little prepares for life in the Blue Square Premier.

What do you think about these departures from Wrexham?
Twice-capped Wales midfielder Mark Jones is also going, technically released but he would have been out of contract in the summer and had already decided to head for pastures new.
"There's other lads that shouldn't have been released. Neil Roberts... shouldn't have gone because he's a good player," Williams added.
"But he's [Little's] setting something new up and that's the way is.
"It's not just about me, it's about Wrexham. I wish them all the best, I hope they bounce straight back, I'm not going to be bitter about it.
"It's a great club but it has been through two bad spells; we nearly got relegated last season, it went down to the wire, and this season has been terrible.
"I've got some good memories, obviously the LDV Vans Trophy win, and other times when I made my debut here, FA Cup games that Wrexham have always had the tradition of beating big clubs."
