Michael Kightly has given Wolverhampton Wanderers a timely boost by declaring himself fit to return for this Saturday's game against Coventry City.
The 22-year-old winger strained a hamstring in the 3-0 home defeat by Reading on 30 September and missed the 3-1 defeat at Swansea four days later.
But Kightly is now back in full training and keen to play.
"The recovery's gone well," he said. "It's feeling really good. I'd have been available for a midweek game."
The England Under-21 international is also looking forward to working in tandem with loan signing Carlos Edwards, signed following the bad hamstring tear suffered by Kightly's fellow winger Matt Jarvis the same night.
"I feel for Jarvo," said Kightly. "But we've got a strong squad to try and cope with injuries and the gaffer has brought in a good player in Carlos Edwards."
It could mean a change of flank for Kightly, given that the equally adaptable Edwards is more accustomed to playing on the right, both at Luton and Sunderland.
But he added: "I've played on the left many times before so if I'm in there again that's no problem."
Wolves had all of this season's first-choice frontline missing at Swansea. And now it looks like they should have three of them back to face the Sky Blues.
As well as Kightly's return, top scorer Chris Iwelumo due to return after suspension and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, on the bench for England U21s last Friday night, has recovered from his knee injury.
