Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey says the club are very satisfied with the business they have done before the closing of the transfer window.
The Molineux side added defenders Jason Shackell, Matt Hill and George Friend on deadline day.
"In this window we've actually signed seven players," Moxey told BBC WM.
"We were looking for a left back to supplement George Elokobi, but then his injury meant we needed two left backs and we've done exactly that."
Elokobi is unlikely to play again until well into the New Year because of knee ligament damage, while skipper Jody Craddock is also out with a broken metatarsel, forcing manager Mick McCarthy to look for cover at the back.
"I think Mick's really pleased with the signings because they give him balance and competition for places," Moxey said.
"We're very, very pleased with the acquisition of David Jones from Derby, Richard Stearman from Leicester, Chris Iwelumo - who has been a real revelation so far - and Sam Vokes from Bournemouth.
"We think we've got the right mix."

Winger Michael Kightly, striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey had all been the subject of speculation over the course of the summer, but all three have stayed put.
"Valuable young footballer players are subject to interest from all sorts of clubs, and I think we're just pleased this window has closed," Moxey noted.
"It's not because we were concerned about losing any of our young starlets but more to do with completing the incomings."
