Wolves capture Friend from Exeter
Championship leaders Wolves have signed defender George Friend from Exeter City for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old, who is a product of the League Two club's academy, has signed a two-year deal with the option for a third year.
Friend made his debut in March 2006 and has made 37 appearances for City.
"He comes straight into the squad and will be fighting for a first team place," manager Mick McCarthy told the Wolves website.
