Striker Aghahowa makes Wigan exit
Wigan striker Julius Aghahowa has agreed a three-year deal with Turkish club Kayserispor.
The 26-year-old Nigerian leaves the JJB Stadium after 18 months in which he failed to score for the Latics.
He joined Wigan from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk in January last year, making just 23 appearances, most of which were from the bench.
"Julius is a lovely guy and tried his best to adjust to life in the Premier League," said Latics boss Steve Bruce.
"I never found fault with his attitude or effort in training or when selected.
"However, he never really managed to get started while I've been at the club and I think it's best for both parties that he moves on.
"I wish him all the best and I hope he enjoys success in his new club."
