Lewer mulls over contract offer
Weymouth caretaker boss Alan Lewer will decide on Friday whether to accept an offer to become the Blue Square Premier club's new full-time manager.
Lewer initially took over in November after the departure of John Hollins.
"An offer has been made and I will spend the next two days thinking it over," he told the Dorset Echo.
"The budget has been cut to a level the consortium feels is affordable in the present climate and I will be sitting down for a chat with them on Friday."
Meanwhile, defender Adam Bygrave and midfielder Josh Webb have both left the club.
Bygrave, 19, has joined Blue Square Premier rivals Histon for £5,000 plus clauses while Webb, 18, had his contract terminated by the Terras and has joined Farnborough Town.
