Terras unveil new stadium hopes
Weymouth chairman Malcolm Curtis has revealed he hopes to have the plans in place for the club's proposed new stadium by summer next year.
Curtis detailed many of the stadium's new features at the BBC Radio Solent Weymouth Fans Forum held at the club.
"The new stadium is looking absolutely cracking," he said.
"It's completely eco-friendly. There's a community centre in it, there's five-a-side football pitches, and training facilities," Curtis added.
"We'll have a village hall, a creche, a cafeteria, and a shop. There's a lot of things for the whole community of Weymouth.
"Hopefully we'll be in a position where we can go forward with an application next spring or summer, if everyone gets behind it."
