Brown resigns from West Ham board
Former West Ham chairman Terence Brown has resigned from the club's board.
Brown, 64, was replaced as chairman in November 2006 when Eggert Magnusson bought the Hammers for £85m.
Brown had stayed on as a non-executive director but has now stepped down - although he will retain his title of honorary life-president.
A West Ham spokesman said: "The board has received Terry's resignation and can confirm he is no longer a director of the football club."
Brown, a qualified accountant and lifelong West Ham fan, had been on the club's board since 1990 and became chairman in 1992.
He will keep his seat in the director's box at Upton Park.
