West Brom seek fresh investment
West Bromwich Albion are seeking major new investment as they approach the new Premier league season.
The club's board say in order to compete in the Premier League, further substantial backing is needed.
"To be successful a club of our size needs significantly more financial backing," said chairman and majority shareholder Jeremy Peace.
"We will listen to any substantive and sensible proposals, which are in the best long-term interests of the club."
Following their Championship-winning season, Albion are set to compete in the top flight for the fourth time in seven seasons.
The last time they won promotion to the Premier League, in 2004, they narrowly avoided an immediate return to the Championship on the last day of the following season, only to suffer relegation a year later.
