Chelsea's Cork loaned to Watford
Watford manager Brendan Rodgers has returned to his former club Chelsea to sign young defender Jack Cork on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has already had loan spells at Southampton, Bournemouth and Scunthorpe, where he was named player of the season last year.
Cork, who featured in 35 games last season for Scunthorpe, can play in either defence or central midfield.
He is eligible for the FA Cup third round tie against Scunthorpe.
Cork represented England at the Under-19 European Championship in 2008, and won an under-21 cap in November 2008 against the Czech Republic.
Rodgers worked with Cork while in charge of the Chelsea reserve team, where he was captain.
