Boothroyd has sympathy for fans
Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has admitted his side let their fans down during Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by relegated Scunthorpe.
The Hornets have won just one of their last 13 matches and need to beat Blackpool on the final day to guarantee their place in the play-offs.
Boothroyd told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It's not their fault that we've lost eight games at home this season.
"They did their bit. That's not me being sycophantic, it's a fact."
