Mullen opens door for Horsfield

Geoff Horsfield

Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen has said Geoff Horsfield is welcome to return to training with the Saddlers.

Horsfield, 35, was training with Walsall prior to being diagnosed with testicular cancer in October.

This week the experienced striker confirmed he has been given the all-clear after surgery.

Mullen told BBC WM: "I'm absolutely delighted for him and his family, he's got an open invitation to come and train here any time."
