Tottenham unveil new club badge
Tottenham have unveiled their new club badge which will be worn on playing shirts from next season.
The new badge is the first redesign since 1983 and replaces the old club crest which was introduced in 1956.
Supporters, shareholders, club officials and former players were all consulted in the design process.
The move follows in the footsteps of Arsenal and Chelsea, who have both redesigned their club badges in the last few years.
"We have sought to reflect our traditions as well as our reputation for style," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
"We knew it would be important to develop a badge everyone would feel was progressive, but without any sense of loss of our proud heritage and I feel we have achieved that."
