Swindon sign Eastleigh's Marshall
Swindon have completed the signing of Eastleigh winger Mark Marshall on a two-year contract.
Marshall, 21, moves to the County Ground after impressing manager Maurice Malpas during a trial spell.
"We are pleased to have him on board. It was one of the easier deals we have done," Malpas told the club website.
"He will come here, learn his trade and hopefully we can improve him. He has pace, which is a tremendous asset, and it will certainly give us an option."
Malpas says Marshall will start as understudy to right-sided midfielder Jon-Paul McGovern.
"J-P has played a lot of games and offers a lot to the side, whereas Mark has the raw ingredients but is just starting out in the professional game," he said.
"There is work to do with Mark, so he won't go straight into the side.

"We need to spend time with him out on the training ground and improve his game."
BBC Radio Swindon understands that Malpas will now make the likes of Michael Pook and Blair Sturrock available for transfer and send a number of youngsters out on loan.
"Now is the time to look at moving one or two on who may not be involved in the first-team picture," Malpas added.
"We will concentrate on the Cheltenham game now and then see what happens after that."
