Roberto Martinez says Swansea City will travel to Norwich City on Saturday a better club for their Carling Cup defeat at the hands of Watford.
The Swans lost to the Hornets 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium but the manager insists they will bounce back.
"You need disappointments like that to keep growing and keep getting where you want to be," said Swans boss Martinez.
"I can guarantee as a football club and as a squad we are stronger now than we were before that game."
He: "We are on the right path. I thought some of the football has been outstanding. But now after Tuesday the football club got a shake-up."
MY SPORT: DEBATE
How do you think the Swans will recover from the Watford defeat?
And Martinez is warning a visit to Carrow Road will be difficult as the Swans look to build on ninth place in the Championship.
"Norwich have a very, very strong squad that is just waiting to click," he said.
"At home they have been stronger than away. At home they perform a very high tempo and it will be extremely testing."
