Swansea sign Argentine defender
Swansea City have signed Argentine defender Federico Bessone on a free transfer from Spanish club Espanyol.
The 24-year-old left-back - better known as Fede - holds an Italian passport, avoiding work-permit issues.
"I have been following Bussy's (Gulliem Bauza) progress at Swansea on the internet," said Fede. "I've become a bit of an internet addict on Swansea."
Swansea boss Roberto Martinez said: "He is an attacking left-sided player we've been following for a long time."
Fede becomes the second Swans signing in two days after Mark Gower's arrival from Southend.
"He will fit into the British game well and has shown a great desire to sign for Swansea," added Martinez.

Another Espanyol full-back, Albert Serran is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Championship new boys.
The 23-year-old is expected to cost about £70,000 and would become the sixth Spanish player at The Liberty Stadium - the third signed by Martinez this summer following Jordi Gomez and Gorka Pintado.
