Swans pair handed one-match bans
Swansea's Lee Trundle and Alan Tate have been handed one-match suspensions by the Football Association of Wales.
The pair brandished a flag bearing anti-Cardiff City obscenities after the Swans' 2-1 win over Carlisle at the Football League Trophy final in April.
The pair had already received police cautions for public order offences, and have now also been fined a week's wages and warned as to their future conduct.
The club were also fined £2,000 by the FAW disciplinary panel on Monday.
Striker Trundle, 29, and defender Tate, 23, are set to miss Swansea's opening game of the new League One season - at home to Cheltenham at the Liberty Stadium on 5 August.
A previous statement from the FAW said the images paraded at the match, which took place at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on 2 April, were "of an extremely offensive and insulting nature and such behaviour is totally unacceptable".
As well as carrying the flag, Trundle was also seen wearing a T-shirt with an image of a Swansea player urinating on a Cardiff shirt.
Swansea have apologised for the incidents but claim that the actions were not premeditated, and that the players were unaware of the derogatory content of the articles which had been thrown to them by the fans after the game.
