Sunderland recall winger Edwards
Sunderland have recalled Trinidad & Tobago winger Carlos Edwards from his loan spell with Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Edwards, 30, moved to Wolves to gain fitness but manager Roy Keane has opted to terminate the agreement.
He has made just 31 appearances for Sunderland since joining from Luton Town in January 2007 for £1.5m.
Keane is expected to name Edwards in the squad for Sunday's visit of West Ham United to the Stadium of Light.
Edwards was a key member of the side which won the Championship in Keane's first season in charge.
However injuries have plagued Edwards' career at Sunderland, with a recurring hamstring injury forcing him to sit out much of last season.
