Brown agrees new Sunderland deal
Sunderland striker Chris Brown has signed a new deal that will keep him at the Stadium of Light until June 2007.
The 20-year-old has agreed a two-year extension to his existing contract to stay with the Black Cats.
Brown, whose father Alan also played for Sunderland, has made 31 appearances this season, mainly as a substitute.
After a successful loan spell last season at Doncaster, when he scored 10 times, Brown has netted five times for Sunderland this term.
Brown follows Michael Bridges and Dean Whitehead in signing new deals with the club recently.
