Potters target Chelsea's Pizarro
Stoke City have turned their attention to Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro after ending their interest in Nikola Zigic, BBC Radio Stoke understands.
Potters chief executive Tony Scholes travelled to Spain to discuss a move for Valencia's Serbian 6ft 8in international forward.
However the club have now pulled out of those negotiations and are interested in Peruvian forward Pizarro.
It is thought a season-long loan deal for the 29-year-old would be worth £4m.
